Quality Control
Quality Control & Inspection System
A documented, traceable QC process — from incoming material to final packed goods — built for industrial identification products that must last the life of the equipment.
Metal nameplates carry safety, traceability and brand information for years in harsh environments. Our QC system follows ISO 9001 procedures with inspection gates at incoming, in-process and final stages, so defects are caught before they can leave the factory.

100% Final Visual Inspection
Every finished nameplate is inspected under high-CRI LED magnifying lamps by trained QC staff wearing lint-free gloves. Parts are checked against the approved artwork and a documented defect catalogue covering graphics, dimensions, finish and packaging.
Inspection records and first-article samples are retained per batch for full traceability.
- Artwork / text accuracy checked against approved proof
- Surface: no scratches, dents, stains or color deviation
- Adhesive, holes and edges verified before packing

Precision Dimensional Measurement
A 2D optical vision measuring machine and calibrated hand instruments verify critical dimensions — overall size, hole positions, slot widths and engraving depth — against the drawing, with measured data recorded for first-article and patrol inspection.
Measurement uncertainty is controlled through regular calibration against traceable standards.
- 2D vision measurement to ±0.005mm resolution
- Calibrated calipers, micrometers and height gauges
- First-article + in-process patrol + final verification

Corrosion & Durability Testing
Material coupons and finished samples undergo neutral salt-spray testing, cross-hatch adhesion tests, thermal cycling and UV aging to validate outdoor durability. Stainless steel 304/316 and anodized aluminum finishes are validated against the corrosion demands of marine, food and outdoor equipment environments.
Test reports and material certificates (SGS / mill certs) are available on request.
- Neutral salt spray: 96h+ for SS304, 200h+ for SS316
- Adhesion cross-hatch test ASTM D3359 grade 4B/5B
- Material mill certificates and RoHS documentation
Four Inspection Gates
| Stage | What We Check | Record |
|---|---|---|
| IQC — Incoming | Material grade, thickness, surface finish, adhesive batch; verify mill certificates | Incoming inspection report |
| IPQC — In-process | First-article sign-off, patrol checks on etching depth, color, engraving and forming | First-article & patrol records |
| FQC — Final | 100% visual + AQL sampling on dimensions, artwork, finish and adhesion | Final inspection report |
| OQC — Outgoing | Quantity, packaging, labels and shipping marks before warehouse release | Outgoing release note |
